Love & Social Well-Being

Love and Social Well-Being is about the power of being connected and caring for each other especially in times of need and when support and nurturing will most benefit others - families, neighborhoods, organizations, and the greater world.  Love has been defined as the act of ‘seeing’ another as legitimate in one’s own world. Through this palpable experience of being seen and understood, love expands possibilities and the well-being of everyone involved.  When seen as legitimate, we allow for mutual influence, connection and reciprocity.  The expansion of social well-being builds and strengthens communities, supports and lifts others to lead purposeful and thriving lives.  Women are most often the primary connectors who sustain and expand the social fabric of the world in which they live.  Supporting their leadership and voice can have a transformative ripple effect across the networks they touch.
